Afternoon: Upon arrival in Fort Portal, enjoy a late lunch at your lodge. Afterward, take a scenic visit to the Crater Lakes for breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, before returning to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Morning: After an early breakfast, head to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center for your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Your guide will take you into the forest to track the chimpanzees and other primates, such as black-and-white colobus and red-tailed monkeys. This trek lasts around 2-3 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees.
Afternoon: After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a haven for birdwatchers and primate lovers alike. You’ll have the chance to see a variety of bird species, including the Great Blue Turaco, and observe other primates in their natural habitat.
Evening: After your tour, return to the lodge for a relaxing evening and a delicious dinner.

Morning: After breakfast, you will report to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure. Accompanied by a ranger guide, you’ll trek through the dense forest to find one of the habituated gorilla families. Spending time with these majestic creatures is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and you will have the chance to observe them in their natural environment.
Afternoon: After the trek, enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest or return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa community for the Batwa Experience. The Batwa people, who once lived in the forest, will guide you through the forest, sharing their traditional hunting methods, medicinal plant knowledge, and their way of life before the park was established.
Evening: After your community visit, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening and a farewell dinner.
