Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport - Transfer to Arusha Town for Overnight

Arrival: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to Arusha for an overnight stay. The drive offers views of the Mount Meru region, setting the tone for your Tanzanian adventure.

Evening: After settling into your accommodation, enjoy a relaxing dinner at a local restaurant or hotel in Arusha before preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Morning: After breakfast, you’ll depart with your naturalist driver-guide toward Tarangire National Park, known for its huge elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. This park offers the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife with diverse landscapes and animals.

Game Drive: Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a game drive in Tarangire, where you’ll see elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and an array of other wildlife. The park’s rich birdlife, with over 500 species recorded, makes it a haven for birdwatchers as well.

Evening: After your game drive, continue to your camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Relax and reflect on the first day of your safari.

Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations.

Serengeti Game Drive: Upon arrival in Serengeti, head out for an afternoon game drive. Serengeti is renowned for its wildebeest migration, the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet, with millions of animals following the rain. Along with the migration, Serengeti is home to large prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, and many other species.

Evening: After the day’s exploration, head to your camp for a private sundowner and enjoy the stunning views of the Serengeti plains as the sun sets.

Morning: Start the day with a hearty breakfast at your camp before embarking on a full-day game drive in the Seronera region of Serengeti, which is known for its abundant wildlife and spectacular views.

Game Viewing: During the game drive, you’ll have the chance to see the Great Migration in action, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and an array of herbivores. Serengeti is home to the largest population of lions in Africa, making it a prime location for predator sightings.

Afternoon: After a packed lunch in the park, continue the game drive, exploring different parts of Serengeti and observing its wildlife in various habitats. In the late afternoon, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning: After breakfast, leave Serengeti and travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. En route, enjoy the scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive: Upon arrival at the Crater, descend into the Crater floor for a game drive. The Crater is home to an exceptional variety of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, hippos, elephants, and wildebeests. The Crater’s permanent water supply ensures that wildlife is abundant year-round.

Afternoon: After exploring the Crater, ascend and travel to Marrera Valley Lodge, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Accommodation: Marrera Valley Lodge (Dinner & Overnight)

Meal Preferences: Picnic lunch or hot lunch at the lodge/camp.

Morning: After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which can often be spotted lounging on the park’s acacia trees. The park also boasts incredible birdlife, including flamingos and a variety of waterfowl.

Lake Manyara Game Drive: Explore the park’s diverse habitats, from woodlands and savannas to the lake shores. Besides the lions, you can also expect to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species.

Afternoon: After a packed lunch, enjoy the park’s rich scenery before making your way back to Arusha. From there, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home or onward destination.
